How
|
In life, we experience content and process: what we do and how (or how well) we do what we do.
Both are necessary. Content needs process to achieve dynamism. Process needs content to gain purpose. Those who seek fame allow what they do to define who they are, while the saintly, whether famous or not, define life by how they live. So, how do I live? Sometimes well and sometimes not well, with some days being better than others. Generally with love and gratitude but also aware of error and uncertainty. With questing and questioning. Sometimes with effort and sometimes effortlessly. Usually searching and seeking then finding satisfaction often enough to restore curiosity and continue searching and seeking and finding. With enough connection, confidence, compassion, commitment, conviviality, and consciousness to desire more. Sometimes with not enough joy. Generally alone and sometimes lonely. Striving to be peace but sometimes overwhelmed by conflict within. In appreciation and love of people, which others tell me I express more than I think I do. With wisdom when I take time to think and feel. With rashness, masked as spontaneity, when I don’t. Sometimes as a time-waster, then a complainer that I don’t have enough time to read and write. Wishing to be more connected with Nature. Often with kindness. Sometimes with harsh honesty usually felt but not spoken. Sometimes with acceptance. Sometimes with impatience. Generally with awareness and appreciation for my angels. With increasing trust in my intuition. With awareness of my bounty, self reminders of my blessings, and desire to let go of thoughts of lack. Sometimes magnificently, sometimes more magnificently, sometimes very magnificently, and sometimes not magnificently at all. With tolerance, except for the intolerable. Generally in quietude, except for chattering inner voices. Like a spiritual being acting human. Sometimes with judgment. Often with advice. And, hopefully, with enough wisdom not to tell others how to live. Without a watch as much as possible. |
