Written over 130 published magazine articles in regional, national, and international magazines primarily about people, peace, social justice, the environment, and outdoor adventure. Authored three books: Cobble Creek (short stories and poetry, 2002) Peace, Justice, Care of Earth (biography, 2006) Brain Tumor (medical memoir, 2009) Written radio scripts for radio theatre troupes Delivered dozens of speeches and facilitated workshops on spiritual values Edited Spontaneous Evolution for cellular biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton and social satirist Steve Bhaerman who performs as Swami Beyondananda (Hay House, 2009) Developed over 30 custom policy and procedural manuals and over 100 hours of management and safety training for corporate and governmental clients Written video scripts and produced video programs for corporate and educational clients Consulted with clients regarding optimal communications messages, media, and presentation techniques. |

I met Karsten, the husband and father, on a train from Berlin to Hamburg. He was a soldier in the East German army when the Berlin Wall fell: November 9, 1989. Karsten invited me to the family's home for a delicious meal. Prior to the children's bedtime story, we looked at a globe to view the locations of Germany and the United States. |
